Stages and States

This is the talk Mark Griffin gave for the final all-day Meditation Intensive of the teaching cycle of 2008. It is a completion transmission, encapsulating all the teachings of the entire year – condensing all the year into an atom and installing it into each student’s sushumna.   The topics Mark includes in this talk are in-depth studies about emptiness, Rupa – the Blue Pearl, Samadhi and the Ten States of God.  He gives us one of his most clear pictures of why attaining Samadhi is such bliss, and the freedom it represents. 

There are many stages of life, and within each we have the possibility of experiencing different states – depending on our spiritual training and opportunity.  We even have the possibility of experiencing the different states of our future selves as well – in fact, sitting with Mark allows a bridge between the state we are in now, and our realized state, which accelerates our stepping into that as our current reality.
