~ Verse 25 ~

In order to cross over the abyss of samsara,
I recognize you as my father, my mother, my
brother and my God. I bow to you, my beloved Sadguru.

Tvam pitaa
twum pee – taa
Note: tvam means you; pitaa means father. The 'v' sound is halfway between a soft 'w' and a hard 'v'.

twum chu may maa – taa
Note: cha means and; me means my or mine; maataa means mother

tvam bandhus tvam
twum bun – dhoos twum
Note: bandhus means brother

cha devataa
chu day – vu – taa
Note: devataa means God

Now glue the first phrase together...
Tvam pitaa tvam cha me maataa, tvam bandhus
tvam cha devataa

Samsaara
sum – saa – ru
Note: samsaara means worldly existence

prati bodhaartham
pru – tee bo – dhaar – thum
Note: aspirate the 'dh' but not the 'bo'
(break)
tasmai shri gurave namaha
(break)
Now glue...
Samsaara prati bodhaartham, tasmai shri gurave namaha
(break)
Now repeat the entire verse all together:
Tvam pitaa tvam cha me maataa, tvam bandhus tvam cha devataa; Samsaara prati bodhaartham, tasmai shri gurave namaha.
