~ Verse 28 ~

Through the Reality of the Guru there is truth,
from the Light of the Guru there is luminosity,
through the Bliss of the Guru there is joy. I bow
to you, O Sadguru.

devanagari

Yat satyena
yut sut – yay – nu
Note: satyam means truth, ena gives the connotation 'by...', / by virtue of truth.

jagat satyam
ju – gut sut – yum
Note: jagat means universe; satyam means truth

yat prakaashena
yut pru – kaa – shay – nu
Note: prakaashena means by light, prakasha means filled with light, shining, luminous, effulgent.

bhaati tat
bhaa – tee tut
Note: the 'bh' is slightly aspirated

Yat satyena jagat satyam, yat prakaashena bhaati

Yad aanandena
yud aa – nun – day – nu

Note: aanandena is a grammatical ending for the word ananda, meaning bliss, adding the meaning 'by bliss'.

Note: this actually borrows the 'a' from the end of the prior word, and is another form of ananda again.
